Mr. Anton Kalachev is a partner of Jus Privatum and a head of our German practice. He is a graduate of the law faculty of Moscow State University Higher School of Economics, Magister of Laws (LL.M) and Doctorate in the University of Muenster (Germany). He is fluent in English and German.
Anton has more than 8 years of experience in commercial and corporate law, labor law, competition law, compliance and law of non-profit entities, as well as dispute resolution and international commercial arbitration.
He has been advising international companies from various industries on legal aspects of their business operations in the Russian market, including: advice on entry strategy, legal establishment, green-field and brown-field investments, acquisitions and antimonopoly clearance issues, drafting investment documentation, advising on joint-venture arrangements, labor and immigration issues, compliance of public companies, licensing and permissions, commercial contracts and IP issues.
Anton also supervises international interactive services companies on market entry strategies and new product development, M&A transactions, regulatory issues, data protection, IP and product liability claims. Anton has experience with legal support of a Russian jewelry company at listing on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX).
He is an author of diverse publications on theoretical and practical aspects of Russian and German law. Anton is admitted as a lawyer in Germany and Russia. Anton is a member of different international associations in the area of international business relations between Russia and the European Union.
